Bay Boat Club – New Member Requirements and Information
- Must be a resident of Bay Village, Ohio to join and annually renew membership.
- Required to own a watercraft.
- Upon receiving an email notification to join, you will then have 7 days to sign up. THERE WILL BE NO REMINDERS. We ask that you use a “non-work” email if possible. This will help eliminate email receipt issues.
- Current initiation fee is $250 and current annual dues are $125. Total cost to join is $375.
- Registration and payment of $375 are required to be done online.
- No Sunday use of any watercraft at BBC. Basically, if it floats then you cannot use it on Sunday.
- All use of facilities are done at your own risk. This includes your guests.
- Membership is only for use of immediate family living in the same household.
- You are responsible for your conduct, as well as any of your guests.
- Violations of BBC operating rules (posted on website) will result in a either a membership suspension or revocation.
- Our Facilities are ready for use sometime toward the end of April and shutdown is at the beginning of November.
- Paid Membership lasts from April 16 to April 15 of the following year. Even though your invitation to join may be after April 1 and to June 30, we do not prorate dues.
- In the event you decide to relinquish your membership, we do not issue refunds.
- All current and new members can take advantage of our Vizpin gate operator mobile app to work the gate. Upon signing up and paying you initiation and dues, you will receive information to sign up and request access to use the automated gate operator.
- The Vizpin gate operator mobile app is only available for members and their spouses. It is not available for any other members in your household.
- In the event you are able not to use the app (e.g., do not own a smart phone), we have a key FOB available. A key FOB is a small electronic device used typically in place of a Card or key. We currently require a $50 deposit for the FOB and will return the deposit upon the receipt of a working FOB. We do not insure continued operations of the FOB, so if it becomes inoperable or lost, then you will need to pay another FOB deposit amount. You must demonstrate the need for a FOB as we are limited in the total amount we can issue.
Bay Boat Club – Rack Waiting List
- Only current regular members can apply to be on the Rack Waiting List. If you are not a current regular member, you will be referred to this page.
- The Rack Waiting List Application for current regular members to renew will open on the web site each year on March 1and close on March 31.
- New applicants can apply and be added to the membership waiting list beginning on April 1.
- The Waiting list finalizes and closes on June 30. All applicants on the June 30 list will be invited to reapply beginning on March 1 at 12:01 am. A current applicant will not lose their place in line if waiting list application is completed online by March 31, so no need to apply at midnight on March 1. In the event a previous year’s applicant has not registered by March 31, they will be dropped and lose their place in line.
- 2023-2024 Kayak and End Cap Paddleboard Rack Storage pricing will be $70 per space for year round storage. Seasonal storage rates are no longer available.
- For rack openings: It is first come first serve. This means you may not receive an ideal slot, but it is the only one available.
- You can request relocation and we will do our best, but no promises of when a better slot could become available.
- We ask that you measure the slot to insure suitability to your watercraft. We have no control of exact slot location, and the rack sizes do vary.
